The owners and managers of Infinity Windows by SandyMark Improvements trace their window and door experience through three generations. The original business was founded on Long Island, NY in 1946 by Mr. Hal Portnoy and the tradition was carried on by his daughter and son-in-law, Arlene and Sandy Mark Lavitt.

Through the decades, one thing became clear: Marvin Windows and Doors by far offered the best window value, highest quality, and greatest satisfaction to customers, outperforming all other brands.

When Marvin began offering Infinity® from Marvin, one of the first fiberglass products, it was the perfect opportunity to bring the best performing replacement window in the industry directly to homeowners on Long Island. Infinity Windows of Long Island was born. In 2012, seeing the opportunity to expand the availability of Infinity beyond Long Island, the company was renamed to Infinity Windows by SandyMark Improvements, paying tribute to the vision and energy of Sandy Mark Lavitt who sadly passed away in 2000.

Today his two sons, Keith and Jason, manage the family’s companies, including SandyMark Improvements, and continue to deliver first-class service, high quality products and an excellent shopping experience to discerning window replacement customers.

Today, we are proud to serve all of Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn, the Bronx and Westchester, providing our customers with the only fiberglass replacement windows with the 100-year Marvin heritage, made in America, and backed by a lifetime warranty.
